Using Microsoft Power BI to support school improvement – improving attendance, outcomes and reducing staff workload.

 

Overview

An opportunity to find out about what Microsoft Power BI is and how it is currently being used to support school improvement and other areas at a large multi-academy trust. Hear advice on setting up your own reports, see live examples of reports being used, and take part in a technical session on how to build a basic Power BI report.

This event will be delivered by Delta Academies Trust on behalf of The Education Exchange following recent attendance and school improvements events.

Trust CEOs, Trust Directors, Trust Data Leads/Managers

Specifics

  • Tailored sessions delivered by Paul Tarn (CEO), Ian Gilsenan (Data Director), Andy Barnett (Deputy CEO) and others.
  • All colleagues are invited to the presentation sessions before lunch.
  • The technical session after lunch is targeted at Data Leads/Managers who have no prior knowledge of Power BI or are just starting out and will be building and maintaining Power BI reports.
  • For the technical session, colleagues are asked to bring a laptop with Power BI desktop already installed.

This is an event aimed at educational professionals working and employed in schools. It is not aimed at third party companies and professionals.
